Case Study
The newly remodeled Soap Box Laundry at 3214
N. Pulaski in Chicago celebrated its grand opening in March of
2005. The 9,000 plus Square foot Coin Laundry was totally
remodeled by D&M Equipment Company of Chicago. The store is
equipped with over 75 Dexter V-Series high efficiency front load
washers that are designed for performance with palm pilot
programming and greater electrical savings then conventional
machines.
The store also features 45 Dexter – 30 pound
stack dryers and 4 - Dexter 80 pound dryers with Stainless Steel
fronts and the newly available Stainless baskets which offer the
customer and store owner greater appearance and cleanliness.
Other features of the store include; 6 Rowe BC-1400 changers, 1
- Standard bill-to-bill changer.
This is the second store built by D&M for the
owners Andy Niewolik and Jesse Kucinski. Andy and Jesse were
very active in the construction of the laundry that includes
many state of the art features, making the store unique in the
market.

Case Study
The World's Largest Laundry located at 6240
Cermak Road in Berwyn Illinois opened its doors once again on
December 26th, 2005. Fire destroyed the old
Laundromat.
The store's owner, Tom Benson chose D & M
Equipment to re-build the 13,000 plus square foot store. The
store features 150 Dexter V-Series Express washers and 70 Dexter
30-pound Stack Dryers. The Express washers are 200G force
and cut the dry time for his customers in half. Tom Benson
spared no expense when re-building the new stpre.
The World's largest Laundry has received
national and local coverage in the New York Times, ABC
Television News, Telemundo, Univision and the
Chicago Tribune, and will soon be featured in the
Journal. |
